Mega888 download for Android & iPhone
Everything the install involves, for both platforms: the permission prompt that stops most first-time Android users, the iPhone install route most people do not know exists, and what to do when either one goes wrong.
The Android button downloads the app. The iPhone button only works when it is tapped on an iPhone or iPad in Safari, so ignore it if you are on a computer.

Both routes take about three minutes. Pick yours, and the steps further down will make immediate sense.

Download the APK, then approve the unknown-sources prompt once. That prompt is the only step that surprises people, and the walkthrough below covers it screen by screen, including the menu path for Xiaomi, Samsung, Oppo, Vivo and Huawei.

Install through the link, then trust the developer once, which is the step that stops most people. There is a web app route as well, which needs no certificate and keeps working if Apple revokes theirs.

Check your phone first
Two minutes here saves a lot of frustration later. Mega888 is a light app by modern standards, which is exactly why it became popular on mid-range and budget handsets, but there are still floors below which it will not run.
| Requirement | Android | iPhone / iPad |
|---|---|---|
| Operating system | Android 5.0 or newer | iOS 12 or later, Safari |
| How you install it | Direct APK download | Install link, or Add to Home Screen for the web app |
| Download size | A single install file | Install link is tiny; the web app downloads nothing |
| Free storage needed | About 200MB to be comfortable | Negligible |
| Connection | Any stable 3G, 4G or wifi | Same, plus wifi for live tables |
| Permissions requested | Storage, network access | Home screen shortcut only |
There is no Windows or macOS build of the app, which is worth knowing before you go hunting for one. If you would rather play on a bigger screen than a phone, the guide to playing on PC sets out the three routes that actually work, and why none of them is a desktop download.
Online gambling is illegal in some countries and restricted in others, and the rules differ across Southeast Asia. Check where you stand locally before you install anything. An account opened from a prohibited jurisdiction can be closed with the balance frozen, and by then it is out of your hands.
Installing on Android
This is the route almost everyone takes. It is straightforward, but step three is where people give up, because Android throws a warning that looks much more alarming than it is.
Current build: version 1.2. Message us after installing and we will open your account.
-
Open the official download page
Use Chrome or whatever browser you normally use on your phone. Type the address in, or follow the bookmark you saved earlier. Links forwarded through Telegram or WhatsApp groups are the single most common way people end up on a clone site.
-
Download the APK
Tap the Android download button. The file is under 100 MB, so on 4G it typically lands in well under a minute. Chrome may pop up a warning that this type of file can harm your device. That appears for every APK on the internet, because Chrome cannot verify apps distributed outside the Play Store. Dismiss it and let the download finish.
Watch for the download completing. A partial file is the usual cause of the parsing error further down this page.
-
Allow installation from this source
Tap the downloaded file. Android will refuse it the first time and offer a Settings link. Follow it, switch on Allow from this source for your browser, then press back to return to the installer.
The catch is that every Android brand buries this setting somewhere different, and the wording changes between major versions. Rather than guess, search your Settings app for unknown apps. That one search finds the screen on every brand below.
Menu paths as they appear on current software. Vendors rename these between releases and between models, so treat the search term in the last column as the reliable part. MIUI and HyperOS often require Install via USB to be switched on before they will accept a sideloaded app, and it lives in Developer options rather than in the normal settings tree. If the installer runs and then fails with a message about permissions or security, that toggle is the usual reason. Enable Developer options first by tapping the MIUI version entry seven times in About phone.
If the setting will not stay onSome vendors reset the permission after a restart, and a few security apps disable it again the moment you leave the screen. Turn it on, complete the installation immediately, then go back and turn it off. You do not need it left on, and leaving it on means any future download can install without asking.
-
Confirm the install
Tap Install. Google Play Protect may appear with a warning that the app has not been scanned. Choose Install anyway. The actual installation takes about thirty seconds on a modern phone and a little longer on older hardware.
-
Switch the permission back off
This step is optional in the sense that nothing breaks if you skip it, and important in the sense that leaving it on means any APK your browser encounters can install without asking. Go back to the same setting and turn it off. You will not need it again unless you reinstall.
-
Open the app and sign in
The icon usually lands in your app drawer rather than on the home screen, which confuses people who think the install failed. Open it, then either log in or create an account. The login and registration guide covers the sign-up form and the deposit screen. Once you are in, the beginner walkthrough covers bet sizing and session limits, which is where most first deposits quietly disappear.
Setting up on iPhone or iPad
There is no Mega888 app in the App Store and there never will be, because Apple does not list real-money casino apps. That does not mean iPhone users are stuck with a browser tab, though. There are two routes, and which one you want depends on whether you would rather have the app itself or just fast access to your account.
Route one: install the app
iPhone and iPad can install the app directly, outside the App Store, using what Apple calls an enterprise install. You tap a link, iOS asks you to confirm, and the icon lands on your home screen like any other app.
That button only works when it is opened on the iPhone or iPad itself, in Safari. On a computer or an Android phone nothing will happen, which is expected rather than broken. If you are reading this on a laptop, message us and we will send the link to your phone.
-
Open the link in Safari on the device
Use Safari rather than Chrome. Tap the install button above, or paste the link below into Safari's address bar.
itms-services://?action=download-manifest&url=https://appsetup.yidaiyiluclub.com/ios/plist/Mega888_0.plist -
Confirm the install prompt
iOS will ask whether you want to install the app. Tap Install, then Install again on the confirmation. The icon appears on your home screen with a progress circle behind it while it downloads.
-
Trust the developer
This is the step that stops most people, and it is not obvious. When you first open the app it may refuse to launch, saying the developer is untrusted. Go to Settings, then General, then VPN & Device Management, tap the developer profile listed there, tap Trust, and then Trust again on the warning. The app will open normally after that.
-
Open the app and log in
Sign in with the account details we send you. If the app opens and closes straight away instead, read the next box before assuming something is wrong with your phone.
An iPhone app installed outside the App Store is signed with a certificate Apple can revoke, and they do revoke them from time to time. If yours stops launching, or you see "Unable to Install", that is almost always what has happened rather than anything wrong at your end. Message us and we will send the current link. Installing it again keeps your account and your balance, because both live on the platform rather than on your phone.
Route two: the web app, if you would rather not install anything
This needs no certificate and cannot be revoked, which makes it the more reliable of the two over time. Safari adds the site to your home screen and it then opens full-screen behind its own icon, without browser toolbars.
-
Open the site in Safari
Safari specifically. Chrome and Firefox on iOS cannot add a proper standalone web app, because Apple restricts that to its own browser. If you normally use Chrome, switch for these few steps.
-
Tap Share, then Add to Home Screen
Tap the Share button in Safari's toolbar, scroll to Add to Home Screen, and confirm. Rename the shortcut first if you would rather it did not read "Mega888" on your home screen.
-
Launch it from the icon
Close Safari and open the new icon. It should launch full-screen with no address bar. If you still see browser chrome, the shortcut was added from a different browser and you will need to redo it in Safari.
Clearing Safari's website data wipes the shortcut's stored session, so you will have to log in again. It does not touch your account or balance, which live on the platform's servers.
Live dealer tables are the heaviest thing in the app and they stream video. On mobile data they will burn through a plan quickly and stutter on a weak signal. Use wifi for those.
When the install goes wrong
Nearly every failed install falls into one of a handful of buckets. Find the message you are seeing, and work down the fixes in order. The first one is usually the answer.
| What you see | What it usually means | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| "App not installed" | An older copy of the app is already there, signed with a different key. | Uninstall the existing Mega888, then install the new file. |
| "There was a problem parsing the package" | The APK is incomplete or corrupt, almost always a cut-short download. | Delete the file and re-download on stable wifi. If it repeats on a full download, your Android version is too old. |
| "Install blocked" or a Play Protect warning | Android is flagging an app from outside the Play Store. | Tap Settings in the dialog, choose Install anyway, or temporarily disable Play Protect scanning. |
| Nothing happens when you tap the file | The file manager has no permission to open installers. | Open the APK from Chrome's Downloads list instead of a third-party file manager. |
| "Not enough space" | Android needs room for the APK plus the unpacked app. | Free about 400MB, clear cache in Storage settings, then retry. |
| App opens then closes immediately | Usually an incompatibility or a leftover fragment of an older install. | Uninstall completely, restart the phone, then install again. Clear the app cache if it recurs. |
| Icon is missing after install | It installed into the app drawer, not the home screen. | Swipe up to open the app drawer and look there. Long-press to add it to the home screen. |
| Games load a black screen | The app installed fine but game assets cannot download. | Switch networks, disable any VPN, and clear the app cache. Live tables will not load on a weak connection at all. |
| "Invalid username or password" | Wrong credentials, or you are on a clone site that has no record of your account. | Confirm the address you are on, then use the operator's password reset. Never reset through a link from a chat message. |
| Download stalls at 99% | Connection dropped near the end, or the host throttled it. | Cancel, clear the browser's download list, and start again on a different network. |
If none of that matches what you are seeing, message us and we will sort it, because we can see whether the download service is having a bad day. If you would rather know for yourself whether you are on the right page before concluding the app is broken, the checks on the safety page take about a minute.
Updating without losing your account
Updates come as a fresh APK rather than through the Play Store, which makes people nervous about losing their balance. You will not. Your account, balance and history live on the operator's servers. The app on your phone is just a window onto them, and reinstalling it does not move any money.
- Install over the top where you can. If the new APK is signed with the same key, Android updates it in place and you stay logged in.
- If it refuses with a signature conflict, the copy on your phone came from a different source than the new one. Uninstall the old app first. Your account is unaffected; you will simply log in again.
- Know your username before you reinstall. Write it down or memorise it. The password can be reset, but a username you have forgotten is a support ticket.
- Update from the same place you installed from. Mixing sources across versions is how signature conflicts and, occasionally, something worse gets introduced.
Making sure you have the real file
The most realistic danger in all of this is not the app itself. It is the number of sites imitating it. A fake download page looks identical to the real one, and what it hands you is either a credential-stealing clone or a file that does nothing but ask for your banking login. Four checks catch almost all of them.
1. Read the domain character by character
Copycats lean on doubled letters, extra hyphens and swapped characters, because a misread URL is all they need. If anything about the address looks slightly off, it is off.
2. Nothing should cost money
The app is free. Any page asking for payment, or a fee to "activate" your download, or a deposit before you can see the lobby, is not the official page. There is no exception to this.
3. It should never ask for bank credentials
A cashier moves money between accounts. It does not need, and must never be given, your online banking username and password. Anyone requesting those is stealing them.
4. Beware of link shorteners
Bitly and similar links hide the destination, which is precisely why they get used to spread fakes. Ask for the full address instead. A real operator will always give you one.
Verify the page once, bookmark it, and reach the site only through that bookmark from then on. It costs you ten seconds at the start and it removes the entire class of problem where a familiar-looking search result turns out to be someone else's page.
Download questions
How big is the Mega888 download?
The Android APK is under 100 MB, so leave about double that free on the phone to be comfortable during installation. If a newer build appears, the steps here still apply.
Why does Android say the file may harm my device?
That is Chrome's standard warning for every APK, not a judgement about this one. Chrome cannot verify apps distributed outside the Play Store, so it warns on all of them. The sensible response is to download only from the official page and switch the unknown-sources permission back off when you are done.
Can I get Mega888 from the App Store?
No. Apple does not list real-money casino apps, so there is no App Store version and any page claiming otherwise is misleading you. iPhone and iPad users install it directly instead, through the install link above, or use the home-screen web app if they would rather not install anything. Both give the same account and the same games.
What does "there was a problem parsing the package" mean?
Android could not read the APK. Most of the time the download was cut short, so delete it and fetch it again on a stable connection. If it happens on a complete download, your Android version is likely older than the app supports.
Do I need to uninstall the old version before updating?
Usually not. Installing the new APK over the old one keeps your login and settings when the signing keys match. If Android reports a signature conflict, the installed copy came from a different source, and you should uninstall it before installing a verified file.
Is the download free?
Yes, and so is installation. There is no subscription and no charge for the file. You only move money when you choose to deposit. A site selling you the app is a site you should close.
Installed and ready to play? The next step is creating your account and making a first deposit, or you can see what is in the game library first.
