Privacy policy
What this site records about the people who read it, why it records any of it, and how to have it corrected or deleted. The short version: we collect far less than most sites do, and we sell none of it.

Who we are and what this policy covers
This site is Mega888 Guide, an agent for the Mega888 mobile app. What follows covers https://mathsofplay.pages.dev and every page under it, and explains what we do with information you give us. The about page explains what we do, and the terms of use set out the rules for using the site.
Because we set up and support player accounts, we do hold information about you. That means whatever you send us when you make contact, and whatever is needed to open, fund and support an account. The games themselves run on the Mega888 platform, which keeps its own records under its own privacy policy, so both documents apply to you.
If your question is about how the platform handles your playing history, your identity documents or your payment data, that sits with the platform rather than with us, and their support desk is the right place to ask.
This policy is about us: the reading, not the gambling.
What we collect
The list is short, and that is deliberate. There's no account to create here, no newsletter, and nothing to buy.
- Server logs. Every request for a page is recorded by our hosting provider. That record contains your IP address, the browser and operating system string your device sends, the page you asked for, the page you arrived from, and the time of the request. The logs exist for security and troubleshooting: filtering out scraper traffic, blocking abusive requests, and working out why a page failed to load.
- Aggregate analytics. We count visits so we know which guides people actually read. The reports we see are summaries: how many people opened a page, roughly which country they came from, what kind of device they used, and whether they arrived from a search engine or a link. We don't build profiles of individual readers.
- Anything you send us. If you email us, we hold your address, your name if you sign the message, and the contents of the email. Support mail is read by a person, not a bot.
- Nothing else. We don't hold passwords, card numbers or casino account IDs, because we never ask for them and would have no way to use them.
One practical warning. If you send us a screenshot of your cashier screen, it may show your username or your balance. Crop it before you attach it.
Cookies and similar technologies
As the site stands today, we set no tracking cookies of our own. There is no advertising pixel, no third-party social widget and no comment system, so nothing here is trying to follow you from one site to the next.
Browsers still store small technical things on your device, and our hosting provider may set a cookie for security work such as bot filtering or rate limiting. Those are not used to identify you or to build an advertising profile.
If we add analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking later, this section gets rewritten before that happens, with each provider named and the lifespan of every cookie listed. The date at the top of the page would change at the same time.
How we use the information
Four purposes, and all of them are narrow.
- Keeping the site online, fast and secure, which includes defending it against spam and attack traffic.
- Understanding which pages are worth writing, using visit counts rather than anything about individuals.
- Replying to the emails people send us.
- Meeting legal obligations, such as answering a valid legal request or keeping a record we are required to keep.
We don't use your information for marketing, we don't sell it, and we don't run behavioural advertising on this site.
Legal bases for processing
Some readers are in the EU, the UK or Switzerland, where data protection law expects a stated reason for every use of personal data. Here are ours.
- Legitimate interests. Server logs and visit counting keep the site working and safe. We keep the data involved to a minimum, and we don't use it to profile you.
- Contract. If you email us with a question or a request, we process your message because there is no other way to answer it.
- Consent. Nothing on the site relies on consent at the moment. If we ever add non-essential cookies, we'll ask for it first and make refusing straightforward.
- Legal obligation. Where the law requires us to keep or disclose something, we do that, and only to the extent required.
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object. The mechanics are set out under Your rights below.
Sharing and disclosure
We never sell personal data. Not to data brokers, not to advertisers, not to anyone else.
Three situations can put information in someone else's hands.
- Hosting. Our hosting provider stores the site and the server logs on our behalf.
- Analytics. If an analytics provider is in place, it receives visit data in aggregate form. The cookie section above explains what that involves.
- Legal requests. If a court, a regulator or a law enforcement agency sends a valid request, we disclose what the request actually covers and nothing more. Where we're permitted to tell you about it, we will.
The operator gets nothing from us. We don't pass on reader details, and no casino account is linked to your visit here through anything we control.
Third-party links
Plenty of pages here link out: to the operator's site, to game studios, and to organisations that help people with gambling problems. Those are ordinary hyperlinks. We don't embed their content and we don't run their scripts.
Once you click through, you're on someone else's site, under someone else's rules.
If you follow a link to Mega888, read their privacy policy before you hand anything over. Your registration, identity documents, bank details and playing history are held by them, not by us. We can't see that data, correct it or delete it on your behalf.
Data retention
Server logs roll off automatically once the retention window in our hosting configuration expires. We don't keep a second copy anywhere else.
Analytics is held in aggregate form, which means the individual visits behind a total are not retained in a way that could point back to you.
Support emails stay in the mailbox until the matter is settled and we no longer need the thread, and we clear out old correspondence from time to time. Ask us to delete a message you sent and we will, unless the law obliges us to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may be entitled to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you, and receive a copy of it.
- Have inaccurate data corrected.
- Have data deleted, where there's no overriding reason for us to keep it.
- Object to processing we base on legitimate interests, and ask us to restrict it while a question is being resolved.
- Receive data you gave us in a portable, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where consent was the basis for processing.
- Complain to a supervisory authority.
Make the request through the channel published on the contact page, with enough detail for us to find the records. We'll respond within the period the law allows.
Worth keeping in mind before you write: this site runs no accounts, no forms and no analytics of its own. It sets no cookies. In most cases the personal data we hold about you amounts to nothing at all, and a request will simply confirm that.
Two honest limits. If your request concerns a casino account, we can't act on it: that data belongs to the operator and the request has to go to them. And if you're in the EU or the UK, you can lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority directly, though we would rather hear from you first.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, the software behind it is kept patched, and server access is limited to the few people who need it. Logs and backups are handled the same way.
No website can promise absolute security. Anyone who claims otherwise is guessing or selling something.
We take reasonable steps to protect what little we hold. If a breach ever affects your data and the law requires us to tell you, we will, with whatever detail we have at the time.
Children
This site is for adults. Gambling content is 18+ here and 21+ in some places, and we don't knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18.
If you're a parent or guardian and you believe a minor has sent us information, get in touch through the contact page and we'll delete it.
We don't write for children and we don't run advertising aimed at them.
International transfers
Our hosting and analytics providers may store data on servers in countries other than yours, including outside the EEA. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers have in place, such as standard contractual clauses, or on the fact that the transfer is simply necessary to send you the page you asked for.
If you're in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland and want the specifics, ask by email and we'll set out what applies to your request.
Changes to this policy
This page gets updated when something real changes: a new provider, a new tool, a shift in the law.
The date at the top always reflects the last revision, and we keep it accurate. For a significant change we'll flag it on the home page for a while rather than quietly editing the text and hoping nobody notices.
Carry on using the site after an update and the revised policy applies. If you disagree with it, the way to say so is to stop using the site.
How to contact us
The contact page publishes the one channel this site runs. It reaches the person who maintains the site and it is the only reliable route for anything to do with privacy.
Include the page URL if your question is about something specific, and tell us how to find the records if you're asking what we hold about you.
Anything about your account, a deposit, a withdrawal or a bonus comes to us, and you should treat that as the fastest route rather than going looking for someone else. The exception is a decision taken at platform level, such as a bonus rule or a game outcome, which we will raise for you.
